Jessi was born and raised in Tillamook, Oregon until the age of 14. She then moved to Anchorage, Alaska where she spent the next 20 years. Jessi started in the Veterinary field as a receptionist in 2002 and spent 10 wonderful years working for a one man practice. He retired and sold that practice before she was able to sell her house so she picked up at another veterinary hospital until Sept. 2011.
In September, she moved back down to Tillamook where she spent 6 months living in a travel trailer with 4 dogs and 4 cats. She then moved to Central Oregon where her husband of 3 years, Brad, got a job and then they bought a house. They now have a 5 acre lot in Redmond where they have 3 dogs, 3 cats and 4 horses (for now).
Jessi works with a horse rescue group called Harmony New Beginnings. They pull horses out of auctions and find new homes for them. When not at work, you’ll find her riding horses, camping, rescuing horses, and cutting firewood or getting hay.
