THOUSAND PALMS, AZ. — Dog owners who shudder at the thought of having their male pet’s “boy parts” removed now have an alternative to neutering.

It’s called “Zeutering” and is about to be offered in the Coachella Valley.

About 10 veterinarians and vet technicians from across the valley and Los Angeles area gathered earlier this month at the Animal Samaritans veterinary clinic in Thousand Palms to learn how to chemically neuter male dogs with an injection called Zeuterine.
