Dr. Erin Miller grew up in Minnesota and graduated from the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After a one year internship in Equine Medicine, Dr. Miller moved to Pennsylvania and worked at a mixed animal practice for 13 years. Initially she worked with horses and farm animals, but switched to companion animals (primarily dogs and cats) in 2005.
She moved to Bend in the fall of 2013 with her husband JB and dog Raleigh, they feel completely at home in Central Oregon. Dr. Miller spent about six months doing veterinary relief work and getting to know the area before joining the team at Bend Veterinary Clinic in April of 2014.
Dr. Miller enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in surgery. She loves all animals and has enormous respect for the special bond they share with their owners. Although her experience is primarily with dogs and cats, Dr. Miller likes working with new species and is expanding her knowledge to include all exotic pets.
When she is not working, Dr. Miller loves to be outdoors – camping, hiking, biking, jogging, kayaking, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, or traveling to see new and beautiful places. She loves her family and spends as much time with JB and Raleigh as possible.
