- Oral health care plays directly into the realm of compassionate care as our pets and animals age. As with humans, dental care or lack of, has direct correlations to many other ailments and diseases in our pets. While preventative maintenance and dental procedures can be financially daunting, Bend Veterinary Clinic has partnered up with Animal Synergy to help combat this need in Central Oregon. What started out as a veterinary hospice care nonprofit, Animal Synergy has now shifted into a multi-service program for at-risk pets and their caretakers. This special needs dental program was created to make sure animals can get the necessary treatments before health problems worsen and alleviate the end of life options due to financial or housing hardships.
