Hello!
My name is Dr. Michaela Huggins and I am an Oregonian born and raised, my family has been in Central Oregon for over a decade and I have loved making this area my home. I attended Oregon State University for my bachelor’s and doctorate degree (Go Beavs!). My fiancee and I are accompanied by our four pets, “Jack” a short and stubby mixed breed, “Sydney” an aussie mix and our two very sassy cats, “Cleo” (tortie) and “Charlie” (scottish fold).
I previously worked in both speciality and emergency hospitals however my current passions in veterinary medicine include dentistry, feline medicine and (still) emergency medicine. I also have a focus on nutrition. When I am not at my day job I work as a spay/neuter veterinarian locally and abroad. When I am not in the clinic you can find me snowboarding at bachelor, traveling, camping or trying all our local breweries.
My goal for both the pet and pet parent is to feel empowered at each visit and work as a team to keep your cat or dog happy and healthy! I look forward to meeting your pets soon!
